I got tired of the old design and updated.

I'm now on meds for uric acid. Doc wants to treat the gout first and see how my hand pain is. So far it' done nothing for hand pain. I just feel ticked off that he told me to take Tylenol or Advil for it. Dude, if Tylenol took care of it, I wouldn't be sitting in your office! =P

Fibro, and RA and Gout - OH MY!

OK, here we go. Doc says I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (on top of Fibro) then told me I have gout. WTF? It was much simpler when I just had depression. =P

I never did have the carpal tunnel surgery. In the pre surgery blood tests, the doc found my red blood platelets were very very low. I had to go to a specialist, who ran all sorts of blood tests. He couldn't find anything! It was a cholesterol med, Niaspan, that a cardiologist put me on. Stopped taking the stuff and now I'm ok.
