Got a new computer today. The one I had been using is five years old and gave me the black screen of death yesterday. I had been on Jury Duty, so at least I had the money from that to put towards it.

New 'Hyperbole and a Half'

This is one of my favorite web comics. In this episode, The Simple Dog Goes for a Joy Ride. Poor beast! It has more troubles than most dogs have in a lifetime!

We are having an old fashioned blizzard. Which is ok because we aren't going anywhere.

I went to the doc thinking I had arthritis in my hands, and was told, no you have carpel tunnel. Guess it's better than arthritis by miles, but I have to give up knitting for a few months and write a LOT less. This does not bode well, because I have a concert tour coming up and that's what I do when I am not needed. So now I have to find something non-handkilling to fill my time. Oh, I could take photos, but musicians are fussy critters.

I haven't been here for a long time. My son's been having all sorts of nasty dental work and has been in a lot of pain. Been spending most of my spare time knitting.

I have been flat on my back for the last three weeks. Sciatica hit me like a ten ton truck. Let me say it's not fun.

In spite of deleting every one of his messages, the porn spammer is still hitting me. I'd like to wring his neck.

That damned porn spammer is driving me crazy. I want to rip his heart out and make him eat it.

Things are quiet. Still haven't vacuumed under the table so I can put my bare feet on Pep's fur first thing in the morning. She was the one who got me through my day.

No more dogs, even after I recover from losing her. Not that I wouldn't welcome one, but I'm getting too damned old, and that totally pisses me off.

I hate aging. It's not really fair. Just when you get it all down and finally like yourself, you turn around and you're an old fart. Guess I'll just be that bitter old woman, who knits and bitches.

This blog seems to be a target of porn spamming. =/ I'm not at all happy about it.
